Classic Car Show Fuels Evening of Fun at Traditions of Columbus

Traditions of Columbus recently hosted their 4th annual Classic Car Show!

The car show began four years ago. It is a popular event that residents look forward to every year.  Villa resident, John Malina, is part of a local Corvette Club. His late wife had Alzheimer’s which sparked the interest in doing a car show to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association.

This year, the car show featured a variety of classic cars, with a few extra Corvettes thanks to John. His connections and passion for bringing together the community aligns with the Traditions’ team vision!

Classic cars not your thing?  That’s ok! There was folksy music courtesy of Ken Wilson that everyone was singing and dancing along to. As part of Our Commitment to bring generations together, there were plenty of activities for kids, including the ever-popular bouncy house for the little ones!  Hungry and in the giving mood?  Proceeds from lunch sales went to the Traditions Trekkers Team for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The family of previous resident Guy Gundaker generously matched all proceeds for a total raised of $1,200.

Generosity, sunshine, laughs, music, family, friends. A great night at Traditions of Columbus!
