Jessica was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, in the St. Matthews area. She has been a PCA (Personal Care Assistant) at Traditions at Beaumont for 2 years.
Jessica, who has been widowed for 2 years, has 5 amazing children who she loves spending time with during her free time.
“When I’m not working, spending time with my babies is a priority. We enjoy shopping and watching our favorite TV shows together.”
When we asked if she had any hidden talents, Jessica smiled shyly and said, “I love to dance and cook!”
Jessica is an important member of the Traditions at Beaumont team and takes her job very seriously, “I’m always on time when any of my residents call. Our residents’ family members love how much effort and time I take with all each one of my residents. I love my residents so much and it brings me great joy keeping them happy and comfortable.”
She went on to say, “Being a PCA comes naturally to me; I am very friendly and caring. My job at Traditions at Beaumont means a lot to me. I just love seeing our residents happy!”
When asked why she nominated Jessica as Traditions’ July Employee of the Month, Rebekah Nicholas, Beaumont Executive Director, said, “Jessica truly exhibits Traditions’ Core Values. She serves by putting the needs of our residents first every day, all with a beautiful smile on her face. Jessica understands the importance of her job and does what is necessary to take care of our residents. She is a steady, dependable rock on our care staff and truly a beautiful person inside and out. This honor could not go to a more deserving person.”
